Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology

In the minor in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology, students can choose between three variants. In all three variants you conclude your minor with a Theme Course. The Theme Courses are given within the specialisations of the Bachelor’s in Anthropology: Power and Politics, Economy and Ecology, the Body in Anthropology, and Religion.

For whom?

For students:

  • who find it interesting to explore other cultures and societies.
  • who are willing to take a close look at their own ideas and (preliminary) judgements.
  • who are interested in the question why people act in certain ways, even if they do or want something which at first sight seems strange - or even reprehensible.
