Business Administration: Human Resource Management

Companies need to deal with different stakeholders: clients, suppliers, competitors, the governmental bodies and so on. One important group of stakeholders are the companies’ employees. How do you attract talented employees to work for your company or team? How do you motivate your team members? How can you manage and reduce stress at work and try to make sure that your employees are happy and engaged at work? In this minor we will focus particularly on how to understand and manage the people in a company adequately.

What will you learn in this minor?

This minor enables you to solve issues around human resource management (‘people management’). You will be encouraged to adopt a critical approach towards the many theoretical perspectives within the professional field and then apply the knowledge that you have gained to practical situations.
