V.A. (Veerle) van Waarde is a PhD candidate at the department of Public Law (Constitutional and Adminstrative Law) of the Faculty of Law at the University of Amsterdam. Her dissertation focusses on public funding by way of revolving funds and is supervised by prof. mr. J.E. (Jacobine) van den Brink and prof. mr. R. (Rolf) Ortlep.
After obtaining her LL.B. in European Law School at Maastricht University in 2017, she graduated cum laude with an LL.M. in Dutch Constitutional and Administrative Law at the same university in 2019.
During her studies Veerle worked as a student-assistant for the section of Administrative Law and gave classes as a student-tutor in Dutch Criminal Law as well as Dutch Constitutional and Administrative Law. In 2019 she followed a three-month internship at the Dutch Council of State and participated in a moot court organized by the Dutch Association of Administrative Law.
