Eppo van Nispen

Publishing in the digital age

Eppo van Nispen tot Sevenaer had a successful career in broadcasting, being one of the first persons to use interactive formats. He then decided to dedicate his knowledge of media and how people use it to the future of libraries. He set up the highly acclaimed DOK Library Concept Center in Delft, a city that is home to one of the best technical universities in the world. DOK’s mission is to create the world’s most modern library. In 2008 DOK was chosen by international experts as the most innovative of all libraries worldwide and in 2009 it was named the best library in the Netherlands.
Today Eppo is the director of Collective Promotion for the Dutch Book, a unique foundation that brings together publishers, booksellers and libraries with the aim of encouraging the habits of book reading and book buying. This foundation is known for running the best book-marketing campaigns in the world. Eppo is also president of a national thinktank in the socialisation of analytics (Big Data), and he is a well-known international speaker and lecturer.

Jeroen Prins

ING’s Jeroen Prins will talk about ING’s Omnichannel strategy. Jeroen is Chapterlead (manager) Omnichannel Experience and currently responsible for executing the digital vision of ING Netherlands and implementing this Omnichannel in multiple countries.

Jeroen Prins started his career in 1998 at a consultancy firm focusing on the financial and telecom sector. From 2004 he continued his career at ABN AMRO and as Vice President Internet & Mobile, Jeroen released the first ABN AMRO mobile Banking app as part of the first steps of the agile approach to work.

In 2011 Jeroen moved to ING to help them implementing the agile way of working and delivering the next steps in optimizing the Internet & Mobile landscape. With Jeroen, ING and the Omnichannel teams have won several awards such as ‘Website of the year’ and ‘Best Financial app'.
